Out & About in October

We were up in Queensland this month, spending time with our eco-friendly friends at the wonderful Biome in Brisbane and sharing the salty love with all of their sustainability focused customers, before taking part in a producer showcase for some of the state's finest retailers, restaurants and chefs. For both events we brought a touch of our Salt Sommelier experience to the Sunshine State, pairing our salts with avocado puree, local cultured butter and Cape Grim beef fillet, and were thrilled by the incredibly positive response to our sea salts. 

We also took the opportunity to visit some of our favourite Tasman Sea Salt customers including the Calile Hotel (the only Australian top 50 hotel in the world), Ricky's River Bar & Restaurant and the fantastic organic health food store Organika in Noosaville. 

On our return to Tassie we were delighted to learn that, just over a year after starting our Salt Sommelier experience, we are finalists in the prestigious Tasmanian Tourism Awards. There were so many incredible tourism operators at the finalists announcement and we were humbled to be part of such an eclectic group of businesses.
