We were very excited to welcome Ben Milbourne and his film crew back to the saltworks to film the upcoming third series of his popular TV show Food Lab. Working with the University of Queensland the series explores the science behind cooking, helping viewers to become better cooks and better scientists.  

Ben Milbourne graduated from The University of Queensland and taught high school science before being catapulted to culinary fame as a finalist in Masterchef. Ben went on to host his own show, Ben's Menu, before starting a production company with his wife to produce and deliver Food Lab. 

Ben's shows have been underpinned by an ethos of finding local farmers and producers who work with nature’s elements to create food that is fresh and of the highest quality - and it was this philosophy that first brought Tasman Sea Salt to his attention. Since then Tasman Sea Salt has featured extensively on his show and in his recipes.
